[C5] Particle Text Effects

Original Thread:http://www.eovia3d.net/showthread.php?t=6367

This tutorial focus' on the new particle system in C5. Combined with directional and flow forces you are able to achieve some impressive particle effects. The theory from this tutorial can be applied to many different tasks involving particle systems. A basic understanding of keyframe animation and the sequencer tray is all that is required. Have fun, I'm looking forward to seeing some cool effects.

There are three parts to this tutorial due to higher resolution.

Grendel, sorry to seem critical--it may be me having an off day. With the pdfs, it's difficult to read what is in the images--at any magnification. I presume the work flow in the pdfs is from R to L then down to row 2. A preamble of what seems to have happened prior to your beginning seems to be missing---some actions/ steps seem to be missing somewhere. I am presuming, but the wording of the very first instructions do not seem to follow a complete/inclusive flow of actions. In the beginning---etc? I think I am repeating myself with my confusion! Forgive me.

BWTR I have explained a little in the preamble the movie of the result can be downloaded at the original thread and the resolution is higher now, but it is in three parts instead of two.

Really great--the modifications were excellent. With every tute I marvel at how good Carrara is. Lots of things in this tute ---"well I did not know that" time after time!

NOT a complaint! I have just got the brilliant Motion Artist at a "special" because I am a Poser user. I am amazed at how easy it is to produce a page turning .swf. Ideal for your tute.

Thanks again for your clever tute.
