[C3 -> C5] Creating a Leaf (Part 1 in an 8 part series about the UV Editor)

"Starting Simple" is a starter tutorial about how to create a leaf via texture mapping a grid. The modeling aspects are done in Carrara's Vertex Modeler and the texture maps are supplied on my website.

This is the first in an 8 part series to teach the in's and out's of the UV Editor. An rough draft of the whole 8 parts is available on my website.

If you have any questions, please post them here and I'll answer them for you.

Updated Tutorial

This tutorial was just updated. Some of the things that got improved were the spelling/grammar issues, C3 & C4 compatibility and some restructuring of content.

You now have access to pre-made .cbr (Carrara shader format) files for C3, C4P and C5P so you can concentrate on the UV mapping and to see how the shaders work when you don't have an alpha channel (C3). In addition, the final product is downloadable in it's own .car format for each of the above versions.

Thanks Andrew. Though the English was acceptable--well done.
