Very interesting. I dont have a clue how you manage to keep them stuck to the head as all my attempts have hairs flying out in all direction. . Looking forward to a step by step from you. Thanks Mike R

| I was thinking of the simpson's Groundskeeper Willy dressed up as Krusty the Clown. Interesting example of how to make a tool work for you, instead of the usual way we make ourselves work around the tool. I haven't had much chance to experiment with emitters yet. So i am interested to read your tut when you finish it... Could this technique be used for animating? Or would the hair go all wacky?

mykyl1966- Mox has particles emitting from just a shading domain he has set in the VM for where he wants hair. The free particles then travel towards the point forces he has on the sides to make the wing point shapes he wanted for the clowns hair. He then freezes the particles when the "hair" is long enough. So their not really stuck to the head he just stops creating new particles and freezes what is already created. Great job though mox it looks wonderful. |
