Backdrop / Lighting Tutorial - Polyloop

Ok, a couple of weeks ago, at work (lunch break), I was reading a tutorial that discussed Lighting and it talked about how to create a backdrop and how to place the lights. I can't for the life of me, remember where that tutorial was, or even if it is related to cararra at all, just 3d related so it could be at any website. I seem to remember that I got to it as a link from a link maybe from another link about 3d modeling. Can someone help me out here?
