Question A n00b question

I've done a search in the forums and can't really find the answer I'm lookinf for.......I'm importing poser models into C5P everything goes well, I set up one spotlight pointed at the model but the skin texture always has this awful shine to it......any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, rework the shader. change the highlights from color to 1-100%, then set just how shinny you want it. You may want to study up on shaders, because with C5 1. you can use SSS; subsurface sactering, and 2. You don't necessarily even have to use the figures skin texture, or you can use it in a stack with C5's proceedurals.
