Amapi Designer that came with C4 Pro

With Carrara 4 Pro I received a cd with Amapi Designer. Up until now I didn't spend much time looking at this program. Is it worth looking into this program, does anybody use it? Or could I better save some extra money and buy Hexagon?

You should install it on your computer and test it out. No one here can tell you if you will like it.

medeamajic is right, if you install and pass the interface then its a very powerful modeler. But I would for sure look at Hexagon much easier and fun to use.

I have Hexagon and the free Amapi 6.1 I downloaded the latter as it is free and out of curiosity.

I have used both and rapidly decided that Hexagon is significantly easier to use, and more powerful (than 6.1 at least), though you can see some of the heritage in Hexagon in the way the interface and tools work
