Drawing Plane - Polyloop

Carrara 3

I am following a tutorial in the Carrara studio 3 handbook by Mike de la Flor.

So far I have entered the spline modeller and clicked on the first Drawing Plane, then cliked on create from the sections menu to create a Drawing Plane at the other end of the sweep path.
It now tells me to click on the first drawing plane and then create multiple in the sections menu, the problem is how do I click on the first drawing plane?
I have clicked all along the sweep path and although I can get the end one to appear I can not make the first one appear.

On the various planes click where I have shown the "mouse" arrow. Click, in turn by the numbers, noticing the changes of brightness (importance) which occur. Hope this helps.

No that does not help, I have attached 4 screen shots with the instructions from the book to see if that will explain better what I am trying to do.

At the menu bar. Sections/Go To/enter the cross section number you wish to go to. This will bring you to its drawing plane.
