Particle Text

Just taking a break from another project to breathe a little and played around with the new particles in C5pro. I've used Cinema4D's Thinking Particles and they are very powerful but C5's have come alongway from V3&4 thankfully. Still a little ways to go before we have a great system like Thinking Particles or Particle View in 3dsMax but able to do most things.
A small quicktime of some text materialising from some swirling particles and then melting away.

I'll do a short tutorial on it and post in the Carrara section. Just used Metaball particles, a text object and some Directional and Flow forces.

Playing with it a little more, this time as a sequenced Tiff format and then reversed in after effects to render out to quicktime. It would be great if it were possible to have the ability to render frames in reverse native to carrara, I'm not asking for video editing or anything but just render 120-0 instead of 0-120. It would seem a simple bit of code(a non-coders opinion) that would make some impressive effects possible.

Should be done tomorrow, I'm in the midst of another experiment with it for a commercial application but I have all the screencaps organised, just need to fill in the text.
