Update 4->5

I own Carrara 4 pro and have it installed on a Windows machine together with the VectorStyle 2 plug in. I 've purchased the update to Carrara 5 pro and also downloaded the latest updater for both Carrara and VectorStyle.

To update should I just run the setup of Carrara 5 and afterwards the updaters for both Carrara and Vector Style. If so will it overwrite my current v4 installation? Should I also install VectorStyle into Carrara 5 (my initial version) and run the updater afterwards.

Every installation of Carrara going into a new folder, so you will have both C4P and C5 installed at the same time unless you un-install one (which I don't recommend unless you need the disk space).

I would follow the instructions by Eovia for updating vectorstyle with the newer Carrara. I don't own VS, otherwise I would've been more helpful.

I think the general principal is to install the originals and just allow the updates to self insall over/into the originals. Certainly I have found this to be the case with all Eovia stuff. Simple no hassle!
