Can you buy models that already have been skinned and rigged or do you have to do that yourself on each model?

As far as I know, no models for Carrara are available for download (to buy or for free), except Poser and Daz models (then, with textures, skinning, rigging and morph targets)

On the Poser note, check out renderosity.com in the marketplace and freestuff area, as well as daz3d.com

At daz3d, you can get Daz|Studio, which is free, and use it to export Poser models in a format that Carrara can work with.
