What codec should I use for my animation

I was using sorrenson 3 but as the scene progressed errors started to appear and the current try using standard sorrenson is causing the exact same errors.

I just realised that it only started happening when I started to use ambient occlusion.

Will try and increase the ammount of photons but want to keep the render times down.

Cheers

Quicktime works pretty good for the web. I just started playing around with Flash 8 and it's new On2 VP6 codec. It looks pretty good.

I always use uncompress movie, or sequece jpg image (if I don't need alpha chanel) and then, compress in a dedicated woftware. It's always better like that

I use uncompresssed because you never know if animation will be used for DPS, Canopus, Avid, Final Cut Pro or Premiere. Most software can handle uncompressed at any resolution. I agree that with Pro Coder you could compress it for the editing system of choice.

Just a heads up that some of the Windows Media player codecs only play on the PC version of the application. So if you go that route, check into making sure they will play elsewhere. If your demographic is college age it is particularly important to me OSX compatable. With Mac's student discounts, at least at the four universities I have regular contact with, somewhere between 10-20 percent of the students are lugging around iBooks... and it increases every year.
