Carrara will not open this file?

OK I modelled in Hex 1.21. Exported .car.. Tried to open.. error could not execute.... Reopened file in Hex and exported .car... Carrara still will not open it.. Even import turns up nothing.

Could someone else see if you can open it...
I did export from Hex 3ds and that would open in Carrara

Hi corndog already downloaded it and it doesnt work for me either, I tried all the things you did ie exporting from hex 1.21 as car. It just gives me nothing if I import or an error if I try to open in C5pro.

If you collapse the dynamic geometry of the object Carrara will import it...

Strange ... If I collapse your first "body reemer 2nd01.hxn" file and export to Carrara it work fine, if I use your second file instead Carrara do not import anything ... IMHO is a bug ... but I am not able to tell if is Carrara or Hexagon that has a problem ...

I collapsed the DG and now it imports fine into C5. I noticed even though I had Hex default set at no DG the file still had DG control curves which needed to be collapsed.

In fact, your model have a very bad topology. You welded two different parts which are not well connected, do a lot of boolean operations and a lot of polygones are blended (the bottom of the model)
That's why a model like this can have problemes exporting in another software (and not only Carrara...)
