Shader..?

I have done some shader reading and a cpl of tutorials and am still having a bit of trouble... I have attached the shader in the edit shader section and then the rendered shader on the object. The render on the stem looks nothing like the shader I would like.. I am just not sure what I have done wrong or missed

At a glance it looks like it may be a "scale" issue. This is common enough, especially with imported models.

I'd try reducing the scale of your shader from 100% to... oh, let's say 5%.

It also helps to be viewing the model you're shading in the shader preview room instead of the sphere, so you can more easily adjust such parameters and see the results on the actual model.

Marathon...
Perfect ty for the tip and you were very close for the scale 1%.
I am not sure how I missed that.. The Shader editor is still a bit overwhelming yet

Cheers
