| Is this a bug
When I delete a polygon in the vertex modeler and try to use it as a morph target it dissapears. Please look at my photos. In the last photo you will see the morph does animate but I am working blind while editing the morph area. Does your system do this? Just delete a polygon on a primative and try to morph it to test it out.

Thomas, The morph can be animated it just makes the object dissapear when editing the morhp target area. It seems like Carrara could solve this issue. The green target area is visible but the object dissapears. That is very odd. |

I think this is normal. Carrara only lets you modify the target area for a morph target. One morph target can not affect an area outside of it's target area rather or not that is part of another morph target. Do note that only the director's camera has the whole "head." The target area is only the 4 segments that form the "mouth," so there are no polygons to show the area of influence (after all, the mouth is just a hole in the mesh). If your area included all the polygons around the mouth, then you should see a "donut" like polygonal surface. Yet, in the very last picture you are no longer in the edit mode. You are in the animation mode of the vertex modeler. This is why you see all the head complete in each view. |
