Where to start best?

I am new to 3d and just starting figuring things out. What is a good source for starting in 3d. I mean real basic things like drawing in 3d using the splines and vertex modes. Any help is welcome, thanx in advance.

Gr,
Frank

Carrara is a good program to use. If you have Carrara 4/5 there is a few tutorials on the content CD.

It does have about 10 video tutorials. It does show how to use the spline and vertex modeler I think.

There is a set of ten videos on the Content CD that can help you get started. They look like website icons. If you click the first one the whole tutorial comes up. I can not remember where it is on the Content CD for Carrara 4. I guess Eovia is going to add more tutorials to the website.
