Just got my copy of Carrara 5, now what?

UPS guy came by about a half hour ago, and I just finished installing and then upgrading to 5.0.2...

Now what do I do?

With no manual to thumb through, it's a little ungainly and overwelming.

I seem to have two PDF's to enjoy burning my eyes out trying to read:
Doc English.pdf at 28,519kbs on the CD-Rom
CarraraOnlineHelp.pdf at 20,403kbs in the help folder of the application.

Which one of these is the 'real manual' that I want to sit down with?

And what would people recommend as the best 'first tutorial' to start myself with?

First go to help and play through the quick giide.
Second, clik on everything you can see--all the dropdowns and the dropdowns within the dropdowns--read all the little explanations which come up when you hover over an item.
Thirdly, quietly work through the manual "Help" practicing everything on Carrara as you go.
Then download all the tutes on the Carrara site and buy the CD from 3dxtract.
Then call back in (a week or three!) with the millions of questions you have.
I presume you have patted youself on the back for being clever and buying Carrara!!!

Doc English.pdf is the manual in its print format. CarraraOnlineHelp contains the same text and images but is formated to be easier to read on screen.

Arcady - you can as well order the full printed edition of Carrara 5 user's manual on the Eovia webstore for $29...

Have fun with Carrara!
