Hi,

Please, don't post any new thread here and use the new other sections (animation, modeling, etc..) with the good prefix.

This Carrara forum is now an archive and most of the thread will be merged later in the good sections.

if it's modeling, in the modeling section, if it's animation / IK / rigging, in the animation section, if it's rendering, FX, in the same named section, and for the other questions, inthe misc 2D/3D forum.

Most of the Carrara users are now using the DAZ 3D Carrara forum.

This forum is Thomas' baby of course.

I like the model (for a forum) at CGtalk... subject specific sections, wip sections, application specific for 3d apps and for 2d apps. That is probably very complex to set up, but it provides something tasty for just about everyone.

Not sure why CGtalk hasn't done forums for Carrara and Hexagon -- I'm sure there are many opinions on this.

I like Polyloop and Thomas is definitely knowledgable and generous... I am sure he has his reasons for the format.

Searching and navigating around DAZ is sometimes a puzzle (particularly the searches... they are not well targeted)
