What about something like a beer bottle, where you scan in the lable (I imagine the label artwork is owned by the brewer...) |

| Doodlin' Dude ![]() | copyright extends to "derivative" works. If a work of art can be perceived to have been derived from another it is an infringement of copyright. It's a complex subject to cover here. Google for copyright laws. Best rule of thumb: Keep your nose clean. If it's not yours don't take it or claim it. There are exceptions for editorial, news and parody. Most often if you are not intending on selling it or outrageously claiming ownership or authorship there would probably be no consequences. |
