Thanks for info smudgee.

This release(6.0.3) fixed alot of issues. I also read at DAZ forums that the booleans now work, which I tested ok. I haven't tried booleans in the Model Room yet, but the Assem booleans show up fine there. Carrara is starting to become a very effcient/capable 3dcg app. Now if 64bit was implemented, Carrara would be a market leader in its category for sure.

I bumped into this by accident at the DAZ forum.
DAZ takes a different approach at marketing...
Let the customers guess if there is a patch or upgrade -- don't notify them.
Ohhh.... but be sure they get their Platinum Club ads...

I can understand Nate's frustration. I've also never rec'd one single notice from DAZ about updates for Hex and Carrara. I only heard about them from the folks here at Polyloop...

And this updater still doesn't work for me. It runs and my version number stays the same. I made a bug report but they don't seem to believe me.

I have a bunch of runtime forders, could that be it?

The put the information in the newsletter if you have your DAZ account setup for no newsletter than you may not be getting the information.

They don't seem to believe a lot about issues with Carrara.

Anyone got tips on how to calm down.
