| Extrusion ![]() | [Carrara]Runtime Folder Woes
When I use the "content" browser, it always asks for "Default repository (runtime folder)". This is weird because I already loaded a runtime folder in order to get the content in there in the first place, no? When I hit cancel the content loads and works fine. If I try to load a runtime folder by doing a search, it seems like I have lots of them between Carrara, poser and other programs, so I don't know which one I'm supposed to load. It seems likee it asks me for runtime folders allot at other times as well. Whatg is this for? Edit: Also, it seems like Carrara often asks me for the location of textures allot. For example, I open up a "Millenium Boy" that I bought... the mesh comes in fine and then it asks me for the location of a bumpmap or something, even though I assume it's in the same folder as the mesh. And what's happened before to me is that it will ask me for the loactions of tons of files that are all in the same folder. It should look in the same folder as whatever the first texture is that I found for it. With a file that has tons of textures this can be tedious. Like, I bought a bird that had the same texture applied to every feather, Gawd! Another thing: For a Mac Intel user, halph the installers I got when I joined th eDaz club were fine, but then some of them were Mac Classic files installers that don't work on Intel machines. I had to go to another computer, install there and transfer my files to my computer. I don't know if I put everything in the right place, but when I click on some clothing in the content pane, even though the icon is there it always asks me for the .obj file. Ansd none of the shoes will conform to the figure properly, the way the shirts do. they end up someplace near the crotch.
