The Carrara 6 webpages are up.

The Carrara 6 webpages are up.

http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/software/carrara/-/?

DAZ 3D is marketing it as the "All in one 3D solution".

Images that you get to see were done by many of the beta testers and long time users of Carrara.

Those came from the Eovia site and the eovia site didn't have credit to the author. Wasn't the author working for Eovia at the time?

My credits are not the problem, because I did that job under Eovia. But it's not the same for Philippe Bressous, Cédric Trojani and Antoine BOulay, and their credits were on the pages.

They are a little slack sometimes, when it comes to crediting people for their work. They have never credited me for the render of Vicki in front of the Vette I modeled, even though they use it in the sneak peeks and the what's new page. Nor, one of the hair sample renders I did. But, it doesn't bother me too much, because I wouldn't post them elsewhere anyway. Just did them for the promo.

Your vette looks amazing, only get rid of the plastic looking blond in front

I know the car was modelled in Hex, isn't it? So would it be that easy to do the same in Carrara? I really would like to see a tutorial for that car, just because I have troubles thinking in hard edges in Hex or Carrara VM.

Otherwise I think the designer should always get the credit. Sometimes one can find (google it!) more info, like tuts and other pics from the designer. An easy we for rockies to climb in... just my thoughts. And maybe write more specific composing/modelling/rendering done in Carrara...
