CARRARA 6 PRO Surprised me! - Polyloop

I just buy upgrade carrara from 5 pro to 6 pro.

I installed and run.

I try to do the same thing which freeze carrara 5 pro and then FREEZE CARRARA 6 PRO after 2 minutes.

Open a template with text and apply hair and CARARRA 6 PRO FREEZE.

RESOLVED - There are NO unit like cm, mm. Only 2 voice Metric and U.S. - see the post below

In many project the texture are hide.

Not much information to go by in your post.

What is it that you are doing that is causing the freeze...details please.
Also what system are you using MAC or Windows?

What template with text did you open and how did you apply hair?

Units of measurement....by default the new scene size is medium size and those use feet not inches but you can change this in properties and also in settings.

- Mac OSX 10.4.10

- Operation in Vertex room: Boolenian operation with two comlex polygom

- Template -> Scenes -> Logo -> HDRI Reflective Logo

- I change in preferences in unit metric but in new New panel don't change unit.

To get the measurements you desire... 1. Click on the word Scene 2. Click on the interface tab 3. Click on the drop down Displayed unit - you get the measurements you desire. Took me forever to find this - as I was having the same problems. Hope this helps

Now i put this file for test.

Open this carrara file.
1) Click the object and enter in the vertex room.
2) select before the poligon at the top
3) Click the boolenian oparation
4) Select the polygon at the bottom

and crash....
