UV Bugs / work-arounds?

It seems like my UV maps sometimes develop a mind of their own. They'll arbitrarily switch from no-wrap-around on the U axis to wrapping, or parts of the maps that are supposed to be disconnected reconnect themselves.

Any adv ice on how to avoid these problems?

I don't think I have had that problem. Can you show us an example?

Hi Carl,

I've found the best way to prevent what you are describing is to make sure that "framed" is selected on the UV maps options. When moving vertexes around, if they just barely touch an edge, the mapping will switch to UV wrapping again depending on what edge was touched.
