Reflection noise

I'm getting a lot of noise in my reflections (metal) in an animation I am working on. The typical object accuracy settings don't seem to improve the reflections. usually not a problem, but my camera is moving slowly around the scene and the reflections on curved metal surfaces is very annoying.
The customer hasen't noticed it, but it bugs me!

Does it look like TV noise? A flickering? Is the object texture mapped with an image?

Just reflective metal curved surfaces with nothing in the bump channel. I guess the problem is that object accuracy dosent work on reflections. So as my camera tracks, small or distant objets are sometimes yes, sometimes no, on getting hit by a ray.

Whats the photon setting at and the resolution?
see if 20,000 photon with some AO and 1 pixel accuracy helps and full raytrace it at 100% filter sharpness and 12 ray depth or more.

Should help if its a sometimes yes and sometimes no thing.

You may have to render your frames larger (ouch) and then scale them down in post if you can't get anything else going.

I just ended up getting rid of the reflection surfaces and the director didn't notice.
Had to get it done.
