Goblin WIP

Making a goblin for my MMORG. I usually make things allot more detailed than they need to be in case I'll be using the same characters in promo illustration or something. In the chatroom itself the whole goblin would only be maybe 100 pixels high.

Did the face this weekend, hopefully will finish the body next weekend. Still need to do allot of work on the bumpmap, I just go started on that.

I also linked some rooms I made last week, and a special avatar I made for my partner. These rooms are still WIP, as well. They will be part of the Gringott's bank (It's a Harry Potter Chatroom.)

All Carrara

I only used Carrara. Hex looks like it's better for characters, maybe I'll try to learn it one day.

Hex and Carrara5 Pro looks like almost the same tools... I use Hex because I only have Carrara 5 std. And Carrara is more stable then Hex at all...theres a patch under the way to Hex... hope we can see it soon...

Progress

I still have alot of texturing to do on the hands and body, but I made some progress. I added glasses, more hair, a body and hands.

I think I have it all textured up properly. Now I'm going to rig him.

Thanks!
I got him rigged and added him to a scene, which I'll animate as soon as I get a cart made for the tracks.

A cart for him to ride in

Our goblin is waiting for a little cart to pick him up and take him to the vaults. I made the cart out of iron and steel with a leather padded seat and wooden arm rests.
