| Extrusion ![]() | Copying Boned Objects
What's the easiest way to transfer a bone character to a new scene? For some bizarre reason, as soon as you attach a skeleton that model is no longer duplicatable or copyable. I'm able to detach the skeleton, group, copy and paste in new document, then reattach, but this is not too good because then I have to redo all my weight mapping and stuff, which is time consuming. I'd heard before that there was some sort of plugin that can do this, sorry to bother wondering if anyone knows where that might be? -Carl

For re-ocurring characters in Carrara, I actually create a "master" scene and make all of my weight mapping and texture adjustments there. Then I delete Camera 1 and all lights and save the file. I then use this file to import into new scenes using the standard Carrara import. Mark |
