 |  [ReadMe] Carrara Demo Reel Project
I think that every one know that situation with carrara isn't the best now. I don't want to discus what DAZ will do with the program, i just hope that carrara will find new users. BUT! I'm carrara fun, and i want to help carrara find it's users. I want to start this project on my site (Approved Russian Community), but i know that polyloop is traditional home of carrara funs. So i want to ask YOU, my friends! Lets do some kind of carrara Demo Reel. I suggest to do video (or set of videos) using all best pictures rendered in carrara, AND\OR some kind of Overview like Vue has: (http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products...stream/?page=1 ) What we need is to show software from its' different sides. (render, environment, creating models, wallpapers etc.) i know, there is some thing on DAZ site but it's poor. I mean, there are only a few of good images. Now (thanks to Thomas) i have good connection with DAZ staff, so we can ask some help from them if necessary. So i want to ask carrara user, and their permission, if we could use there images, and if you can take part in creating the demo reel. For example: Odessey, Thomas, Marc, Milk, Populus, MarkBremmer, Randy, Me  etc. .........And do some kinde of demo reel like Bryce 6 have using carrara renders. Any suggestions? (sorry for my English)

Sounds like a nice idea.  You can use any of my renders if you like, DAZ did for their Bryce reel and they did not even ask ...

Hahaha, that's funny kinda.... erm, unless it pisses you off. :| Well, the good news is i'm sure it shows more than boobs, panties and a temple. Consider it a generous contribution to the greater community at-large. |

Hi i don't have so many images to give you, but the ones posted on Polyloop can be used if you feel that they worth it ! So if you need bigger render let me know !

Thnx all! I only want to take part in creating demo reel. For example I've never use programs for creating video, and it will take long to do animation using pictures. So if some one could help, please - write! Oh, and: Please, post links to your pictures here. It's not so easy to look for them all over the forum =) Also write any ideas what to put in the video... what kind of text, for example. WBR.

I'm used to video programs (After Effects and Finalcut HD) so if you want i can do the Cut ! What could be interesting is to have few images and or animation by Carrara features Modeling GI Rendering SSS Ambiant occlusion Tree generator and so on !

Hi Yes Danas_anis is right, we are creating an animated demo reel at Daz3D right now. I was working in one simple showing some Carrara features and at same time some people ask about this in Daz foruns, so we are coordenating a new demo with colaboration from the users. 1 - we have some render farm facilities now to be used if needed 2 - there are a place to upload the animations so I can edit it later We are talking about resolution for thsi reel and asking people to send your animations showing the Carrara features.
