| Spot Light Effect
Another Question from Mr. Jeff. But first a shout out to markbremmer who let me know that my heirarchy of my character probably wasn't right. I know I said I was going to get you a screen shot but I was able to figure it out on my own. I do have a new question. I have a character on stage and for a few moments I am shooting him from behind, looking out at the crowd. Now, what is the best way to have glaring spot lights in the background. I need it to look as if the camera see's the spotlights that are lighting up my character. I could use the spot light (Which I have set up) but you don't see the actual light. I could create a cylinder and make it glow? maybe? Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks |

se the light cone, like Piem said be sure to enable "3d Shadows". I don't knnow if that's the effect you are after. Oh BTW turn up the Ambient light for the scene to 100% if you want to see any color or texture from the object.
