There's too many good ones so I can't say I have one single favorite. How could I pick between Patrick's Vette and his landscapes or Aunt Betty's whimsical brilliance or Pete's and Grendels models or Pacale's imagination and Odysey's complex scenes? This isn't the CGSphere site and in the end I'm glad, I learned I think that ratings (favorites maybe too) are largely a bad idea when it comes to art. Maybe also this is why Thomas disabled the ratings on the gallery here, he too saw it was bad for art and stiffled creativity instead of promoting it.
Enjoy them for what they are and visit them from time to time like I do and post a little encouragement for the ones you like, in the end they all are what they are, a pure joy to look at.

Courel: I also disable the galerie rating, because some intelligent people liked to put bad values on very good images only to gave it a wrong rating...

And I also have to find a way to put back the Hall of fame.. I think I'll put the old one back online, it will be more easier like this...

I would prefere people post with out the fear of being rated. It could be harmful for a newbie to get a low rating.

It's too bad that something as simple, pleasant and uncomplicated as 3D art should become so politically charged and that people would rate art by who's, who or what soft is used instead of how good the work is, but maybe it's just human nature.

So much great stuff here at the Polyloop gallery it is indeed hard to decide what I like best. That Mark Bremmer Carribbean Voyage is wonderful! I love it having been a sailor. I agree that not every 3d art site should have ratings on the art submitted.

Cool CG Society thread behzad. Very interesting discussion. Sometimes rating is good and sometimes it is not.

I adore Odessey's space work. :D All his work is beautiful.

I also agree on disabling a rating system. Exhibiting in places like this are for sharing, not ranking. The only time I support rating is during a juried exhibition or actual competition with judges where the rules are clear and the judges are trained and impartial.

Mark
