Normal maps in Blender

How to ? I have found a very complicate list of steps...need good tutorial.
For some reason , a detail model made with the sculpting feature, make Melody crash.
So , even the sculpting is very good, the final model is useless for me.

Try xnormal. Melody wasn't good for me either but this works well, and also has other capabilities as well.

As far as I'm aware Blender can't do what you're asking, and Xnormal is like Melody but a lot better. It can make normal maps from high-poly models like blender sculpts.

Like everything in 3d there's a learning curve, but it's not that hard.

With my previous version of Xnormal , the NM output is totally black.
I dl the newer version and it loops with no output at all.
