| bijan ![]() | [Carrara]I'm having difficulty rendering an animation with sound track in Carrara 6 Pro. In Carrara 6 Pro there are tow file types for rendering movies, one is AVI and the other is Quick Time. When I'm rendering a very short animation with a very short sound track, the program warns that AVI file type dose not support sound rendering. When I select Quick Time for the render it takes boringly long time for each frame to render. Is there a solution for this flaw ![]() |

| bijan ![]() | Hi Joppe, Thanks for reply. I use a PC with Windows Vista Operating System. I have converted my WAV file to AIFF through GoldWave and I still get the same result. I have been looking on Internet to download a AIF file, no luck yet. Can you email me a sound file with AIF file extension please? Last edited by TaNoFF : 12th November 2007 at 02:56. | bijan ![]() | Thanks Joppe for the file. I tried it, and had the same problem. All I can think of is that Windows Vista causing the problems. Unless someone else here with Windows Vista can render a short animation with sound and it goes smooth. Thanks for your help anyway Joppe. |

| Spline ![]() | I get the same sound format problem too(.WAV, didn't try QT). I have not read or confirmed that the Vista hotfixes and updates fix the issue, but they might be worth a try. I will update to Vista SP1(final) when it comes out, as C6 works for me otherwise. ![]() |
