[Carrara]exporting animation as MDD ?

Hi. Does anybody know if Carrara can export the animation data as an MDD file? I am considering upgrading to Carrara 6 based on this one condition, so i can use it to animate in Modo.

You could therically export to fbx then open up the fbx in modo, but or some reason, it doen't work as expected ?

So, i don't think there is a solution right now...

unfortunately, Carrara fbx doesn't support the animation...I think the plot is not saved and linked to the objects..or I didn't found the way to do it.

Yes, Piem, that's what seems to happen.
And that's a shame, because exporting to FBX without the animation attached to objects is really of no interest !

the fbx export in carrara is mainly for exporting characters to motion builder for character animation and take back with animation.
