Not a big fan of gifs, or animated sigs for that matter, but the style is nice and I like the colours.
One thing though, seems kind of weird when the transparency of the orb changes (at least I think that's what's happening just before the rings appear above it), kind of like a jump cut can throw you off while watching films and such.
