I'm interested in finding out what will be provided by Daz for Hexagon, short term, for its soon to be released incarnation (2.0), which looked to be something I'd like to purchase, once I get a chance to test it out.
Unfortunately, reading all this has made me quite sad that people just don't seem to "get" what business and product development is all about in our modern world/economy. I'm willing to say, probably to the offense of many, and I apologize in advance as I'm sure you're very nice people as you seem to be, that the problem is really not the DAZ acquisition at this point, it is, for a surprisingly large number of people, the complete "lack" of understanding of how to/why to purchase a product, what mindset to have, and how to evaluate it. I've most likely also offended many of the "marketing" people with my statement, because it is this very mindset that feeds marketing plans and fills preorders. Rather than retype my small words of wisdom, here is a link to a post I put up on subdivisionmodeling.com.

Really think about it, and if I offend, I apologize again.

Good luck to you all, get to work on the art you can make now, not what you "could" make if Hexagon 2 was released.
