I also would greatly appreciate mouse mapping support. All things being equal, I prefer being able to dolly with a depressed MMB (with no additional keyboard key required, that is).

(note: this point may be moot in the next Hex version. If it really is to be easy to use via tablet, its going to need to support dolly movement by just dragging on "empty" space, a la Zbrush)

For speed, I would also like to be able to validate operations from my mouse, and map one of my many additional mouse buttons (mb3,mb4, etc.) to that end.
