Well I don't know whats up with my computer.
Yesterday the tesselate box was not present in the tool properties box.
Today Hexagon was behaving oddly when I added a cube. The cube would move around the screen with the mouse. So after powering down the computer and restarting, all seems normal now and lo and behold, the tessalate box is now present.
My mouse has been totally erratic since moving to my new office.
