Conform a 3D character to a simple surface

I have created a small and simple tutorial in order to show how to "conform" a 3D character taken from a Celtic font to a cylinder.

The tutorial can be downloaded here (2.50 Mb zipped Quicktime file).
If you want to "conform" an object to a sphere (or a vase) this is very simple ... take a look at this tutorial and if someone need more info ... feel free to ask!

If someone want to download also the Celtic font it can be found here (windows only ... sorry ... ).

Have a nice modeling!

NOTE: Quicktime 7 or superior is required to see the video!
