A Short movie with Carrara - Polyloop

Hi everybody,

I wanted to share this movie with you.

I spend sometime on this English part of the forum but my english is not so good so forgive me if i write it wrong

I've been doing this short for 2 years now, and its only the first part
Most of it is done with Carrara (from version 4 to 5 Pro) and a bit of Hexagon 2.1. Postproduction done with After Effects 6.5 and Finalcut Pro 5.5

I did the music too (i'm really not John Williams at all) with my Yamaha DX7
and Logic with EWQLSO Silver Edition for symphonic instruments

I havn't seen the movie yet but I must say that I admire you, usually I have
problem keep doing the same project a few days, and you done it for 2 years.

Thank you all !!!

I did most of the particles(explosions and smoke) in Carrara except the last shot with the green starshirp that was done in After effects and Particular plug-in.
I'm about to modify my website to be more into the making-of, more screen shot and explaination.

My favourite part is when the robot leaves the ship exploding. There is something about your camera or the speed of that sceene I really like!

Your clip was GREAT!

I was saying to myself the other day that I'd like to (finally) start putting together animation shorts instead of just (test) renders - just like this...

You have it all there, meteors, atmosphere reentry, even the visible haze from engine heat (the ship landing scene) - 100% PROPS on your work with this!

I'm working on 2 new sequences to complet the 1rst part ! and it will change the narration !
I love to see how "cut" can absolutly change the vision of an action, the fact and the story itself !
They come very soon !
