the bloke - part one

Here is a character Im working on. It started with a random sketch in a meeting at work one day. I thought I'd try to model him in Hex, so I developed a frontal and profile view. I dropped these onto the vertical grids in Hex.

Jack,

You definetly have a style of your own. Very nice work. Any updates on the frog model? And I'm curious if any of these are examples of the type of things we will see on your future DVD?

The frog model is on hold for a while. The next steps will probably require sizable chunks of time. The bloke character is just a frequent distraction.

The training CD will cover the essentials of the tools in Hex. If there is time, I'll probably post a few freebie videos to detail more involved projects. That sounds a little backwards, I guess. but so many people want to like Hexagon, but they just aren't sure where to begin. The CD will cover everything very thoroughly.

Oh, and thank you Luko.
