No-Prize, eh?

Well, how doing Supremor, the Kree Supreme Intelligence from the Marvel Universe?

current model's coming right along. I really like the way the legs are working with the hip area. Very believable!

Go Team Teyon! :D

Thanks!

Supremor, eh? Okey-Dokey...should be easy enough and will allow for lots of displacement on that giant gooey head of his ...er...its.

Anyway, here's the latest update:

I think I need to read more comics, I have no idea who supremor is...
Wonderful job you have done with the green man, Teyon. As is customary of your work. Always top notch.

Juan,
Venture Bros comes on cartoon network on adult swim. May not have that in Mexico. It is kinda a spoof on the johnny quest cartoon. Teyon looks good. Keep showing us the silo beta stuff. The more the better.

Hi. Nope not yet.

....

.......

.........Hey! I'm on the header thingie! Cool.

So, here's a bit more fun for ya. A Flash vid showcasing some free play with Silo 2. If the nice folks at Daz can get Hex2's seam thingie working I may go back to Hex for texturing. Right now, my models are all bland colors. I'm too lazy to spend time fixing the seamage. Silo 2beta doesn't have the exporter yet so I can't say how it compares (in that sense, score 1 for Hex).

Okay, So, here's the vid I spoke of before getting all wrapped up in my own thinking. It features music from Bethoven, Bach and the Kodo drummers. I was going to slap some Black Eyed Peas on there but well...they don't really go well with Bethoven or the Kodo drummers.

DAZ said they are working on the patch
right now to fix the bugs on hexagon 2.1 that
people are having problems with.

I have also reported to them the problems
with the diplacement brush tools.

I'm pretty sure they are working hard to fix the bugs
that is why it's taking them a long time.

3dMaster: where did you see they are working on a patch for hexagon 2.1?

I seriously doubt that. And even if they were, I've found Silo has a much smoother workflow. Especially if you are a box modeler.

I can say I've reported quite a few bugs and have seen little activity involving the bugs I've reported (ie. verification, in progress, etc.)

ok well if you don't believe it I'll just paste
what the DAZ executive team said here on their chat last August 22.

<BluesDrag> How are the bug fixes in Hexagon coming along, when can we anticipate another update?
<DAZ_Dan> Hexagon has been a tricky situation because it had a lot more bugs in it
than we anticipated when we bought it. We expected it to have been further along.
<DAZ_Dan> We have been working on it but we still have a ways to go and cannot give
a specific date of delivery.
<Nichod> Will we see a patch for Hexagon? Or will it be a full version upgrade?
<Nichod> Mainly to fix the texture/displacement export issues.
<DAZ_Bob> we plan that it will be a patch
<DAZ_Bob> a full version would be a ways out

If you notice. That was me that asked that. Also, note that they said it will be a patch. Does it mean they are CURRENTLY working on a patch? Until I see actually bug reports updated, I doubt there is activity.

And also, if you take a look at the bug tracker of DAZ, a lot of bugs listed are in fact the same bugs... and a lot of other bugs are users bugs
(which doesn't mean that Hex 2.1 don't have bugs at all )

What was that last one rendered in? Nice soft glow to it.

Thanks. That was Poser 7 and Photoshop working together. It was a larger set of renders resized so that may have helps soften some of them (except the one with the white backdrop turned black).

Your work about modeling is equally amazing, congratulations.
The front of the fish man, the transition around his waist seems weird, like two bodies glued together.
