Mox that is awesome.. great work.. and as far as your concept drawings ans a challenge .. I would love to participate.. It is well above my level I believe but that's how you learn.

hum... I prefer the first one, on the post #21 ;)

but we can ask thomas to do a subsection in this one : "common wip : modeling monster from drawing", the first topic would be a list of some concept drawings, and the participants would choose which one he wants model

so there could be two types of participants : these who draw the monster an post their drawing in the first topic ; and these who model the monster.

Just my 2 cents, from my poor mind

Here is an update of the old dino with details made in 3dbrush,
The rendering was done in Carrara 6 the hard part ist going to be the Gun, I already make a unwraping of each parst of the model, but I don't know If is good to split it in 3 diferent uv sets to have good details let see.

Am going to try make the tutorial using this model showing how to integrate the two software.

From 3dbrush to carrara 6 video

Kudos to you Juan, it's a pleasure to follow your progress in 3D art!
Please could you explain what is that feature you mentioned in 3D brush?
I'm following with interest the development of that software but, you know, as Hexagon and Blender already provide some sort of painting I don't know if 3D Brush is worth the money.
What do you think about it?
