Lego Car

I seen a couple of models done with lego in some other sites. So I just gave it a shot. Done in Hex 1 just the basic piece. Then in Carrara I duplicated the piece and build it. Is not perfect,(I should measure it first ), but I'm planning do to a second one.

yes, very good

but I have some suggestions :

- on real legos, the tires are a bit different :

http://mainline.brynmawr.edu/Robots/...ifs/Step17.gif

- the hand and the top of head should have a bigger thickness, and the hand sould be more circular :

Looking good! My kids are at the lego age so I get to play with them all day long as well!
Only comment might be to sharpen the edges a tad.

Wheels were already stated... think the hands edge looks a little thin too.

Here is an update.
I added thickness to the hands and changed the head. I made it bigger and shorter. As for the wheels I couldn't find any lego wheels, didn't have any.
So I use refference from the Lego site.

I know you'd rather make everything yourself, but there is a lego-cad program out there. I used it for awhile, and you can export in your favorite format. If it sounds interesting, you might wanna google it.

very cool work. All this talk of lego brings back memories, of my mom screaming when she stepped on my lego pieces . I think i need to have a child, then i can have an excuse to buy some lego for myself (oops, i mean for my kid of course!). I look forward to seeing more updates on your model...

From what I remember (oh that long time ago) lego has very sharp edges. Also the hands are a bit too large. They are able to clip round the pole, that may help with relative sizes a bit.
