Picnic

Here's a little pic I started after modeling the ants in Hexagon. I needed some creative way to render them, so I came up with this. I know they aren't that great, but I kinda like em.

Hi Dude!! Funny pics! I like the compostion a lot. Of course you can improve the textures some, but theres something very interesting about this. Are you going to put some bones in the ants so they can be in different poses or animated? Can you show a wireframe on the ant, it looks like a good topo! Ants a busy insects. Keep up the good work

Wow... where are the shadows? . And yes, I know the textures leave a lot to be desired but I had already spent a looot of time on this and quickly grew tired of this particular scene by the time it came to texturing. The ants are already boned, as you can see in the ants that are stacked, although not very well from these angles, the ant on the top, and the fat ant laying on it's back in the basket. I'm not sure I would be able to adequately animate an ant, I haven't done much animating in the past, especially not with bones.
