This is my first successful design, made entirely in NURBS using Amampi 7 Pro and rendered in Bryce 4. The background is nothing special, as I have no idea how to use Bryce properly. When I work out how to do more things in it, I'll probably post an improved version.

| A Photoshopped version
As a test of how to use photoshop, I've made this little image whilst waiting for my G4 to complete a rather large modelling error  been going for about 5 minutes now... Anyway, the purple laser-type things (for lack of a better word) are added in photoshop, then blurred. I then added a motion blur to all of it. Im quite pleased with it for a first off. Hope you like it.

Okay, I believe the purple laser-type things are called "photons" [ at least if I remember my Start Trek: TOS lexicon correctly ].Hmmm...I'm still trying to figure out why the motion blur seems to be making it look more blurry rather than in motion. I think After Effects may have a better Motion-type Blur filter for this sort of effect. But in Photoshop, you may want to try a "Radial Blur" with a "Zoom" Blur Method setting and have the Blur Center offset to the mid left. That may give you that spaceship-racing-towards-impending-danger effect that you are looking for (please see attached images). Otherwise, nice job...keep up the good work. ![]() Cheers.
