toon head wip

heres a pic of a toon head mesh im playing around with at the moment.
i'm using this to revise the female head tutorial currently posted at 3DCommune.

Please Don't use the one posted, it is flawed.

i will post a revised version soon

Thomas,

it's a custom light setting i created a long time ago, makes my models look good shaded ;)

poser is a quick and dirty renderer ;) no effort required :D

saves me time is all ;)

update on figure

just an update on the toon mesh
bout 2 hours into the body mesh, i'm not very fast i know ;)

sadly another poser render

i'll post some wires once the arms and legs are on. :D

an Amapi God i'm not . not by any means. ;)

i always ask if anyone wants the files just ask, i will send them

im not very happy with the shape of the forearm so im going to delete it and rebuild it i think.

the legs also need some more work.

i've done some work on the shins and ankles
interestingly this will Doo Sabian smooth in quads as well as Catmull Clark smooth.
at range 2 theres only 1000 polys difference.

at range 1 its currently 7536 polys in total with the eyes

at range 2 its 26500 polys DooSabian smooth
and 25467 Catmull Clark smooth.

my apologies for the large file size for the image wireframes dont compress very well ;)
i'm hoping to make the files availible for download from my site but this may take some time so please bear with me
