Lego:Fight for the Kitchen

Hi all,
The image title is "Lego:Fight for the kitchen".
I want to represent a scene born from my fantasy.

not sure how i missed this entry, but it's pretty cool work! I have a few comments where i would try to improve:

  1. objects need better contact shadows on the floor. Especially on the white areas of the cloth, some objects appear to be floating. Might be a simple fix, like rendering an AO pass and composite in 2D image editor. Or maybe try to fix it in render by using more cache samples?
  2. The cloth texture doesn't seem dimensional enough. Are you using displacement or bump on it? Or perhaps the texture needs to be more highly contrasted to give more depth between the weave?
  3. the spoon and bowl (nearest to the camera) are intersecting each other a little bit.
By the way, what render engine did you use?

This is very cool and I'm sorry I missed it when you first posted.

I would maybe look at the lighting a bit. Try to highlight areas of interest. I would also reduce the DOF too. Made my eyes water trying to focus
