WIP (Hex2,5/C6Pro) Tram

Here is a litle project I'm working on.
I found this blueprint :
Germany - Tram 1921 series (Bergen, Norway)
http://www.the-blueprints.com/index....-g/16173/view/

And as our town is rebuilding a tram system,(our last one was closed in 1965)
and people in Bergen always have an something to say about new/old things, this is going to be my coment on the rebuild.

There is an error in the blueprint. The trams didn't have split windows on the front sidewindow.
The white windowframe was as on the model and not in the blueprint.
This is based on some old photos an drawings I have found, as I was searching for references.

Still some details to ad..... and UV mapping

Nice job on this. In my youth I lived near Blackpool in England for many years and seeing this brought back memories of the daily tram trip to college and back

I'm looking forward to seeing a render - after all that UV mapping!

Looks great Varsel

Add a bunch of grungy paint and billboards on the side and it will be perfect.

Thanks all.
Just had to do a test render. The background is a cheat. Not my work..

The marketing of the "new" trams are that they will be like the TGV trains in France. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TGV

----- The only ones that belive in that are the marketing people.

The yellow color are the original color of the first tram/bus company.

Have been working on it.
Still have to grunge it now.
Part of this inspiration is that it's a brand new shiny "white elephant".

So it's ment to look as it has just been unpacked.
But the bodypanels need a more metalic panel look.

I'm not going for photorealistic. I dont think I am abel to manage that yet.
