Fiber Optic Slip Ring - Polyloop

A segment of a fiber optic slip ring I use at work. Still need to do the fasteners for the different sub-assemblies but the bulk of it is there for display purposes. Model in MOI and render in Carrara.

Now that you mention it I just may when it's done. After the initial release I have not hung around the forum over there too much.

What amazes me is to be able to model King Kinky and then this - two completly different styles/method and both very good.

That is something I strive to do as a personal goal. Alternate between hard and soft models. I think the techniques are very different for the two and both need to be practiced to maintain a level your comfortable with. Doing something you're not comfortable with is the best way to get better at something.
