Full female character Hexagon-Zbrush W.I.P (Nudity)

Iv done a few of these now, but before the Hexagon made base was very basic .

This one iv spent alot more time getting a much better base ready so as to use more of Hexagon, no Re-topology tools where used in Zbrush fro this project.

Using a Box style method I develop the chest from a cylinder, iv not use this way of starting before.

As with all my projects I record and show some video footage of its progress. In the following videos your see a timelaps version of the full tutorial to be posted in the near future.

Stage 2 mouth.

Here I view the geometry at what I call the Medium level polycount, this alows me to see any potential problems like unevenly distributed polygons, or 6 pointed star formations. This is also the level in which I keep as my base for applying displacment maps later on.

Going back to my base level I continue to making the inner mouth as shown in pictures below.

Stage 3 into Zbrush.

Here I start building form and basic details. The lowest base is kept at all stages, this enables me to tweak large volumes quickly.

Stage 4: More detail and tests.

Here I test the deformation using Zbrush Z-Mapper.

Morph deform test:
http://blip.tv/file/945377

I now also do a quick texture paint test to see how she is shaping up. This helps be see what she is looking like at this stage.

This is as far as iv got, il be back soon with more, she is a long way from finnished.

Iv gone over her again, refining some key areas and wont go no further as the pose requires re-shaping and re-sculpting. Here are the last re form pics and the first key stage in posing her.

And here is the beginning stage of posing her. Posing is done in Zbrush with the Traspose tool.

Thanks behzad, these are the very areas that I havent posed or re-formed or detailed.

When you use Zbrush Transpose tool it can mess up and distort certain limbs while posing, this is why I havent shown much attention to these areas as I knew they would be re-posed.

The hands are going to be flat to the floor, and toes more spread with more depth in certain places. Like wise ankles more refined. If I have time today il get these done and post a update. I will be going over the whole body many times before im totaly content.

Hair will be last on the list, skin pores, creases and details will be added just before texturing her. The AO render I last posted has no bump or displacment map this is the Base level smoothed in Modo. Areas like nuckles, finger nails, ribs e.c.t are completly gone

Iv spent more time on this project than any other. Im aiming to get its as best as I can in every area. Im glad you see these two areas need attention, it shows that what I have left out is visiable, thats a good thing, as it means if nobody saw it, the rest of the body was showing the same standard as the hands and feet, thats not a good thing.

Thanks again.

This is very nice! Except for the hands and feet that you have already talked about

Can't believe I missed this one. Are you using modo 302? Have you tried the flex tool for posing?

Hi Ash.

Yes Im using 302, Im so use to using Zbrush for posing that I havent realy gave the flex tool enougth chance.

Im working on the hands and feet right now. They are being worked on as if its a single model itself, which is what I did for the head, they get the best attention that way.

I mite create the eye lashes from Zsphears instead of trans maps, not sure yet. Cant wait till she is done, I can then work on a male in much the same way, but better, it always has to be better.

You could say im refining the process tighter and tighter, learning from every single mistake or areas that can be done more efficiant.

In the end I should beable to get this kind of project done within 2 days from scratch, long way from that yet though.

Keep the comment coming and thanks for looking everyone.
