Simple little Smurf cottage done while watching a movie. The model is here for any who want it http://forums.polyloop.net/3d-models...urf-house.html

I did not really spend any time with the mapping so you may want ot change it.

Thanks, she actually has a smurf house or something that looks like it. They have been unavailable in the US for quite some time.

I remember this character in my cartoons when i was young. It has changed a lot in 40 years. At this time they were created for one story as secondary character. Years after the autor used them as main character.
Plastic models were produced at different times revealing the modification in their shape.

I read that on his website as well. The hat seems to have changed the most. I had quite a few of the PVC figures when I was a kid as well, they kind of led the way before the cartoon came out in the US.

The model looks great, but the roof is too small. I think if you scale the roof 150% you'll get closer to smurf proportions. Similarly, I think the smurf's head is a little too small.

Check the source for more reference (Dupuis). You're 99% there!

I'll check the roof, there is more than one type of mushroom house and some are short and fat and others are taller. When I make the village I will make a few morphs to get different proportions to the houses.

Good reference, that is great and I see what you say about the head and roofs. I used the US cartoon references and this is the french version so they look different.
